“Let your vision be world embracing…” — Bahá’u’lláh

Bahá’ís believe in one God, eternal in the past and the future, who loves and progressively educates humanity through successive revealed religions. The Baha’i writings say that the Creator is an “unknowable essence,” far beyond the capacity of creation to comprehend.
The Bahá’í teachings state that religion has been revealed progressively from the same God through different prophets/messengers, who at different times through history and in different locations come to provide the teachings of God. In this way the Baha'i teachings see that religion has the same foundation, and that the various religions are "different stages in the eternal history and constant evolution of one religion"
We believe every person comes into the world as a noble and beautiful creation of God. Our purpose in life is to draw closer to God by offering selfless service to others. Together, we are all citizens and caretakers of one planet. This core belief in oneness calls us to actively root out our prejudices and the systemic inequalities that divide people of different ethnic backgrounds, national origins, genders and social classes.
We have Bahá’í communities in all areas including Collin County, Frisco, Allen, Carrolton, Richardson, McKinney, The Colony, Little Elm, Dallas, Arlington, Southlake, Lewisville, many cities in Texas and all across the US. If you live outside of Plano and wish to meet Baha'is in your area simply send us a note and we will be happy to introduce you to Bahá’í community closer to you.
