“Religion should unite all hearts and cause wars and disputes to vanish from the face of the earth; it should give birth to spirituality, and bring light and life to every soul. If religion becomes a cause of dislike, hatred and division, it would be better to be without it… Any religion which is not a cause of love and unity is no religion.”

“Do not be content with showing friendship in words alone, let your heart burn with loving kindness for all who may cross your path”

Welcome to the website of the Plano Baha’i community

You might be here because you have heard of the Baha’i Faith, and perhaps are interested in learning more about it and what is happening in Plano. You can expect members of the Baha’i community to interact with you in a genuinely loving, kind, and friendly manner. Proselytism is strictly forbidden in the Baha’i Faith. You are free to learn as much or as little as you like, without any commitment, and without ever being asked for donations.

The Baha’i Faith is the most recent of the world religions, all of which emanated from the same God, bringing a message appropriate to the understanding of people at the time. Some core tenets of the Baha’i Faith:

  • Peace between all people and the elimination of all prejudice
  • Independent investigation of the truth free from dogma and imitation
  • The agreement of science and religion
  • Education as a basic right, especially for women
“The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens.” – Baha’u’llah
